04 A Lot of Fun Events!

I enjoyed school festival and Halloween event in this week. October 26   I went to the beauty salon where is my friend recommended me. Then I dyed my hair olive beige. Dyeing my hair for the first time so, I was a little nervous. But a hairstylist was very nice so, I exiting chatting with her, I felt happy.   That finished, I said to her “good bye” and I went to the station to go back home. Wind was a little cold, but I was comfortable it. Wind carried shampoo’s aroma to my nose, I felt warm and happy. On my way home🌟   October 27   Today held the renga festival in the UNP, I went to there with my friends. When we arrived there, first, we ate khao-man-gai. This is chicken rice in Thailand. I’ve never ate it before. But it was so delicious so, I want to make and eat it! After we wort some traditional dresses in different countries. Example are, Chinese, Korean, Mongolian, and so on. 【UNP1】Regional Revitalization

  I listened Ms. Burtz’s presentation, I learned about connections can lead regional reconstruction. Example are, connection between human and human or human and nature. I used to think that only to build new facility and to carry out something new activity can promote regional reconstruction until the presentation. However, I notice that only these things is not enough to fulfill it. Ms. Burzt, she make connections between people or people and nature in prepare and carry out trail race. I think this connections is very important. Connections with people from outside the regions can spread attraction of region. This connections also can energize people in this region. In addition, connections between adults and children can strengthen their relationship. I think that it promotes to convey and protect cultures. 03 The Good times!

 This week, I meet a lot of new people! I had very exiting days! In October 20 Today is very cold but I went to Agano river and dug up weeds. This is volunteer activity. I belong to volunteer club, so I joined this activity. There are about 40 people. Some people are UNP students, and other some people are NUHW students. We pulled up weeds with communicate each other. After we did BBQ! Then I could make new friends and eat much 😊 In October 22   Today I went to Starbucks Coffee with my friend. I ordered pumpkin spicy latte, and my friend ordered customize of mela me-la frappuccino. She customized taste like a ice-cream of Baskin Robbins. It looks very cute! 02 Enjoy to Walking in Nigata

My Great Experience by Walk in Niigata   October 12, I went to the hakusan shrine by walk from the Niigata station. Weather was very lovely. There isn’t cloud in the sky but not too hot.  sunny days  When I arrived the hakusan shrine, I was surprised. There are many children and their parents. They were all wearing Kimono. Then I realized that “today is shichi-go-san!”. I remembered my shichi-go-san, my hart became warm. 😊 After, I went to remplir+. It is cake shop, I aet three cakes. Not too sweet roll cake, tarte tatin and chocolate cake flavor of rum. It was very delicious but I’m felt sick from eating too much. So I want to walk again, I went to the Niigata-daizingu. There is surrounded a lot of trees. Trees made shade so I’m comfortable. cakes    I leaved the Niigata-daizingu, I could see Japanese traditional house and road. 01 Start of my Niigata life

   Hello! I’m Mayu Sato in the faculty of International regional. I’m not from Niigata, so I’ve never came to Niigata until I been university students. My Niigata life filled with new things. Example are, living alone, meeting new friends and to experience Niigata culture. So I’ll write my Niigata life on this blog. 😊   My First Trip In Niigata  I went to Yahiko shrine in April. This is my first trip in Niigata. I can saw many deer and many kind of chickens before I enter precinct. Deer were very cute. And chickens looks depend on species. For example, one of the chicken have black feather, other one have long tail. It was interesting! I surprised thing in Yahiko shrine has okumiya* . I have to go up the mountain in cable car and walk. Cable car goes up above steep slope. There are still a lot of snow. When I walked up there, I almost slipped few times. I feel scary but I wanna go to there again.
